Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information TradeOptix (the “Platform”) processes and why.
Information we process
- Account information — your username and display name, and your role (owner/client).
- Trading data — account balance/equity, open positions, orders and trade history, retrieved from your own MT5 account in order to display your dashboard and operate your bots.
- Configuration — strategies, bots, watchlists and preferences you create.
- Technical data — logs needed to operate and secure the service (e.g. timestamps, error logs, connection status).
What we do NOT store
We do not store your MT5 account password. When you connect or switch accounts, the login is relayed to your own connector and used only to sign in to your own terminal. Connector tokens are stored only in hashed form.
How we use information
We use the information solely to provide the Platform: to authenticate you, display your account, run the strategies you configure, and keep the service secure and functioning. We do not sell your data.
Sharing
Information is not sold. It may be processed by the infrastructure necessary to run the service (e.g. your broker and MetaTrader 5, hosting and secure-tunnel providers). Each user can only access their own data; the system is scoped per user.
Storage & security
Data is stored on the Operator’s server. Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Authentication uses signed tokens; connector tokens and passwords are never stored in plain text. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies & local storage
The Platform stores an authentication token in your browser to keep you signed in, and may store UI preferences locally. These are required for the Platform to function.
Retention
Account and trading records are retained while your account is active and as needed to operate the service or comply with applicable obligations.
